Is there something you’re not telling us?

Oct 7, 2026
Make sure we know the people who matter to you, by making your nominations in your myRPS account.

Maybe there’s someone.

Someone who matters now.

Someone you've never told us about.

Someone your pension records have left behind.

Life changes.

People get married. Families grow. Relationships begin and end. Children and grandchildren arrive.

The people who matter to you today may not be the same people who mattered when you first joined the Scheme.

Have you told us about them?

Why tell us who matters most to you
A lump sum of money could be paid to the people or charities who matter to you, if you die before you take your pension.

But we need an up-to-date picture of who matters to you.

You can tell us who you'd currently like the money to go to. This is called making a nomination.

Check your nominations today if you:
  • have never made a nomination
  • want to nominate different people or charities
  • can’t remember who you’ve nominated
  • haven’t checked your nominations recently
  • want to change how the money could be shared, if you have more than one nomination.

You can learn more on the ‘Nominations for death benefits’ page.

How to tell us who matters
The quickest and easiest way to make your nominations is in your myRPS account.

Go to ‘My Pension’, and ‘My Nominations’.

Don’t have a myRPS account? Register today, and join more than 160,000 members who already use myRPS to update their pension online.

While you’re there
