Which pension webinar is right for you?

Whether you’re getting to know your pension, preparing for retirement or thinking about saving more, our free November webinars can help you understand your options and feel more confident about planning for your future.

 

With six sessions to choose from, you can pick the webinar that best matches your type of pension and where you’re at in your career and savings journey.

Each webinar is free, usually lasts just over an hour and is led by an RPS expert. You’ll have the chance to build your understanding and ask general questions through a live Q&A. 

Get to know your pension 
If you want to understand more about how your RPS pension works, start here.

These sessions cover who contributes to your pension, ways you could save more, when you can take your pension and the options available when you do.

Choose the session for your section:

If you’re not sure which section you’re in, you can check in your myRPS account. It’s on your welcome page under ‘Your membership’ and ‘Type’. You can also check with your employer. 

Preparing for retirement 
If retirement is getting closer, our pre-retirement webinars can help you understand what to expect and the options available to you.

The sessions cover when and how you can access your pension and the different options for taking your benefits. There’s a session tailored to Defined Benefit members and another for IWDC members.

Thinking about saving more?
If you’re a Defined Benefit member and want to understand more about saving on top of your main RPS pension, you can join our webinar about Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs).

We’ll explain how BRASS and AVC Extra work, how to manage your contributions, the investment fund choices available and how you can take your AVC savings.

There’ll be a Q&A during each webinar, where you can submit general questions, you’d most like our expert to answer.
