Give your pension some attention

Sep 8, 2025
Pension Engagement Season is back this autumn, helping you get to grips with your pension with useful tips and free impartial advice from industry experts.

Here’s what coming up for 2025:

Pension Attention 2025

Pension Attention is back from 5 September-27 October 2025 with TV star Ross Kemp encouraging the nation to ‘Strengthen Your Pension’.

Led by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA), the campaign aims to help you plan for retirement in 3 simple steps:

  1. Do you know where all your pension savings are?

There are billions of pounds out there in lost pension money – could some of that be yours? Stretch your mind back to past employers and pensions and see if you have old or lost pots. The government-backed Pension Tracing Service can help you with this.

  1. Do you know how much you currently have in your pension?

Log into your pensions accounts to check how much pension you’re on track to get or register for your online myRPS account if you haven’t done so already. You can also make sure all your details, including your nominations, are up to date.

  1. What are your dreams for the future?

It can be tricky to know how much you’ll need in retirement, but it’s never too early or late to start planning for your future and how to get there financially.

There are a few tools you can use to work out how much you might need:

You can find out more about the campaign by visiting the Pension Attention website and following its social channels.
