Here’s what to keep in mind:
You can check this by logging in to your myRPS account. If you move house, change your phone number or switch to a new email address, please let us know. We need to be able to reach you with news and important updates about your pension – and you don’t want to miss anything.
When you first joined the Scheme, you might have given us your work email address or phone number. But if you change jobs or stop working, you won’t have access to those messages. It’s simple to switch to using your personal email address and phone number.
To change your email address, log in to your myRPS account and go to ‘Account Security’ in the ‘My Details’ area. There you can change your username, which is also the email address we will use to contact you. To change your phone number or postal address, go to ‘Contact Details’.
Your pension benefits may include a lump sum or other benefits that can be paid to someone if you die. If you’ve had any major life changes, like getting married, divorced or having children, make sure your nomination is up to date and reflects your current wishes. It’s easy to forget, especially after big life events.
To update your nomination, go to ‘My Nominations’ in the ‘My Pension’ area of your myRPS account.
It only takes a few minutes to update your details, but it could save stress and worry down the line. The quickest way to do this is in your myRPS account. Log in or register today!
